Financial Incentives for the Temporary Transfer of Agricultural Land

Financial Incentives for the Temporary Transfer of Agricultural Land Leased from the Lands Authority or Privately Owned to Riżorsi Agrikoli Malta

Riżorsi Agrikoli Malta is offering a financial incentive scheme to encourage Category 1 farmers — those who lease agricultural land from the Lands Authority or own it privately — to temporarily transfer their land to the Agency for a period of three years. The transferred land will be reallocated to young farmers or those in Categories 3, 4, or 5 for food crop cultivation.

Eligible beneficiaries will receive €1,500 per tumolo, paid in three annual instalments of €500.
